The Technology
Roomee is pioneering an integrated approach to the management, monitoring and service of its room products to enhance the quality of the user experience.Responsive technologies enable users and maintenance teams to accurately monitor energy usage, air quality, fire and security. Linking to Roomee’s online portal, occupants will be able to manage their property from any media device, enabling them to maximise the potential of their rooms.Responsive room living will enable the occupants to reduce their energy bills and automate some of their lifestyle needs whilst enjoying a more connected home living experience.Some of the controls within Roomee’s design will include:

Key Worker; an employee who provides a vital service, especially in the police, health, or education sectors.
Roomee’s model of mass produced, mass customisable room solutions means that it can maximise a properties value through conversion and inclusion within the Roomee network.Roomee focuses on providing key workers with a range of solutions from short term lets through to product ownership.
Ownership in key locations becomes significantly more affordable one the occupancy yield from each building has been increased. A key worker can own their own Roomee as a starting rung on the property ladder, increasing roomee size or location as their equity grows or selling up and moving into a more traditional property.

Yang Liu
Legal Technology Manager
Yang is an award-winning lawyer with over 14 years’ experience in property law, contract law and international law with a special focus on the UK, US and China. Lu brings invaluable experience to the team to enable Roomee’s ambitions of establishing a presence in cities globally. Role: Yang’s role is to ensure the company meets legal requirements for developing and trading in multiple territories, meeting regulations within each territory.
Claudia Nowojewska
Operations Design Manager
Claudia worked her way up within the retail industry to become the European head of visual merchandise for Timberland before returning to University to progress her career in design innovation. Claudia combines her skills to bring a strong management focus to the design team.
Xiaojie Wang
Sustainable Design Lead
Xiaojie has a Master’s in civil engineering from Imperial College London and is responsible for Roomee’s Environmental design and Sustainable living approach to design and property development. Role: Xiaojie’s role is to drive the company’s sustainable strategy within manufacturing and customer services provision, in line with each territories property regulations.
Yifan Liu
Project Design Manager
Yifan is a dynamic creative designer and production manager having studied Arts at King’s College London. Yifan has unique skills that include four languages (Chinese, English, French and German) and a passion for historical and cultural design practices within local cultures. Yifan will support Roomee’s aims to expand globally whilst ensuing our products are refined for the local markets we enter. Role: Yifan’s role is to ensure the company’s products and services meet the needs of the customers within each territory.
